DIVA Interview with Megan Mottley

THE GLAMOUR GIRL MOVEMENT!
We ask the Publisher of DIVINE Magazine about her latest project.

1. What motivated you to publish the book "Glamour Girl"?

After my fair share of ups & downs, a family member suggested that I take a 365 Day Sabbatical to get back on track. During that year, I evolved on so many levels and I wanted to share my experience with other women. The book, "Glamour Girl: How To Get The Ultimate Makeover" is currently available for pre-order at http://www.theglamourgirlmovement.com/ and will be available 11/11/11. In the meantime, I have FREE Gifts for those who get connected to the movement including "The Glamour Girl Survival Kit" Ebook with an excerpt from the book, a 1-on-1 Beauty Consultation with me and much more!

2. How can Christian Women draw the line between caring for ourselves and vanity?

We need to recognize that beauty products and relaxation techniques are not forbidden by God, they were actually used throughout the Bible and the book of Esther gives a great account of the beauty rituals that women used during that time. However, outer beauty is not something that should supercede who God created us to be on the inside. As a Former Licensed Esthetician and Makeup Artist, my book actually teaches you how to balance and achieve both inner and outer beauty.

3. What advice could you offer to a woman struggling with self confidence?

For one, she needs to get connected to The Glamour Girl Movement because this is exactly why I created this movement. She would greatly benefit from a Beauty Sabbatical and a lot of the other resources that I have made available to those who get connected to the movement. Poor self-confidence is a prime example of a deep rooted issue that can't be solved by cosmetics alone, it's a flaw that can only be diminished by an Ultimate Makover.

4. What is your goal for women who embark on the Glamour Girl movement?

I want to take them on the same journey that I went on years ago and one that I continue to take; a Beauty Sabbatical. It is a life-changing process that involves time alone with God. It is a necessary step for the woman who has gotten off track, who needs direction in life or is trying to find her purpose in life. It’s the recipe for discovering beauty from the inside out.

5. What are your thoughts on the world's view of beauty versus God's views?

I think that outer beauty definitely has its place and it plays a huge part in helping a woman feel beautiful about herself. I also think that women wear many hats and taking the time to indulge in relaxation techniques and beautification processes are very important and much needed. However, God looks at the beauty of a woman's heart, her spirit and her service to others. Without understanding the deep significance of inner beauty, a woman will forever lack True Glamour! I want women to live a more balanced life and expose the True Glamour Girl that exists within her. Together we can keep each other motivated & encouraged to be all that we were created to be
